Role

Programming, Design

Project type

AR Art Exebition

The Asphalt Festival at K21 in Düsseldorf was an immersive exhibition of modern art and technology, featuring an innovative virtual art performance using augmented reality. As the primary responsible, I co-designed and developed a special app, that enhanced visitors' understanding and engagement with the exhibition.
The app was a highlight of the exhibition, providing visitors with an informative and immersive experience. The virtual art performance, curated by Matthias Umpierrez, featured the works of various artists transformed into an interactive three-dimensional experience, exploring the intersection of art, society, and politics.
The exhibition showcased the diverse range of contemporary artworks, from thought-provoking installations to interactive performances. The manual-based dramaturgy approach, designed by Umpierrez, provided a unique perspective on contemporary issues and how to approach them.
Overall, the Asphalt Festival at K21 in Düsseldorf was a success, with the app playing a crucial role in enhancing visitors' understanding of the art and themes explored in the exhibition. The exhibition showcased the dynamic relationship between modern art and technology and left a lasting impression on visitors, making it a truly unforgettable experience.
