As a member of the programming, design, and project management team, I played a crucial role in developing and operating this award-winning project.
TimeRide VR Cologne is an innovative and exciting tourist attraction that offers visitors a unique journey through time to experience the rich history of Cologne's imperial era.
TimeRide VR combines state-of-the-art virtual reality technology with haptic elements such as vibrations and airflow to create an immersive and emotionally charged experience. Visitors are transported back to the beginning of the 20th century and immersed in the daily life and bustling atmosphere of that time.
Since its opening in 2017, TimeRide VR has been a huge success, receiving numerous awards and recognition for its innovation and contribution to German tourism. In 2018, the German Tourism Association honored the project with the second-place award in the prestigious German Tourism Award, among 80 other applicants. The Bavarian Founder's Prize was also awarded to TimeRide VR in 2018 in the category of "Concept."
In conclusion, TimeRide VR Cologne is a game-changer in the world of historical tourism. I am proud to have played a role in its success and to have contributed to creating an unforgettable experience for visitors from all over the world.
